The Rio Celeste is a river in Tenorio Volcano National Park that is known for its distinct bright blue water. Unfortunately, we visited after a downpour of rain so the water was muddy and didn’t have its distinct blue color. The hike is fairly easy and only takes about an hour. Even though we didn’t see the brilliant blue water, the Rio Celeste Waterfall was well worth the hike to get there.
